Global Data is a Melbourne-based, ISO 27001-certified data company. Our SaaS and API products — WatchEye, IDFEX ID Check, ID Pass, Caspar, Insiight, Australian Death Check and Quester — run on about 2 billion current and historical Australian records.
Founded by people who spent decades moving Australian data
The founders kept meeting the same problem: the data businesses needed for everyday decisions was slow to reach them and hard to trust. Global Data began as a way to automate that supply.
The first products did exactly that. Caspar put background and contact data behind a search box. Insiight fixed customer records that had gone stale. From 2020 the same data network moved into AML/CTF work, adding biometric checks, document verification and ongoing monitoring.
Today the Melbourne team supports regulated businesses in Australia and overseas, from Tier 1 banks to collection agencies.

Data enrichment that refreshes a customer file in seconds, built to fix bad data. Now used by hundreds of businesses Australia-wide.
The AML/CTF expansion
ID Pass, IDFEX and WatchEye add biometric checks, ID document verification and transaction monitoring to the suite.

Reverse social-media searching roughly doubles Caspar's dataset and adds around 22 million unique phone and email contacts.

The full suite runs behind a single Portal login, with API access for teams that integrate.
