Who are we looking for?
We are seeking a Strategic Data Sales person to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, as well as maintaining and growing existing client relationships. To be successful in this role, you should have a strong understanding of data and analytics, as well as experience in sales and business development. You should be comfortable working independently and have excellent communication and negotiation skills. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in data sales, with a passion for leveraging data to drive business growth. What will you do?
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities and build business revenue alliances
• Maintain and grow existing client relationships by creating and maintaining a busy sales pipeline
• Develop and implement strategic sales strategies
• Understand clients’ data needs and identify solutions to meet them with our data capabilities
• Collaborate with other team members to drive business growth where required
• Negotiate contracts and close deals
• Be capable of demonstrating our business solutions
What will you need?
• Experience in data sales and business development (at least 5 years)
• Strong understanding of data and analytics (consumer and business)
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Proven track record of success in sales
• Self-starter with a passion for leveraging data to drive business growth
• A pre-existing and transferable network is highly advantageous
