Global Data operates in the consumer data space. We utilise this data a number of
ways – Risk Assessment; Consumer Marketing; Data Enrichment; Identity Verification
Services and much more - selling to small, medium, and large organisations.
Our business is looking to expand its sales team by bringing on an ambitious and
commercially-savvy individual to push our products. The successful candidate will be a
confident self-starter who has the ability to create and service their own pipeline from
end-to-end. The person must have the ability to generate their own sales.

What do you need?

  • 4+ years of commercial experience in B2B / B2C product solutions
  • A pre-existing and transferable network in the Data Sales space would be
    advantageous
  • Hunter mentality. Will have the ability to procure and close their own leads and is
    always seeking the next deal / opportunity

Sales Representative (Entry Level)

 

The Role.

We are seeking a Sales Representative (Entry Level) to join our growing Sales Team at Global Data. This is a full-time, permanent position with base salaries, bonuses, and the opportunity for internal growth where applicable.

 

The Opportunity.

As a Sales Representative, you will be based in Melbourne and report to our Head of Data Partnerships. Your role will involve growing and expanding our national presence within Australia by selling Data and SaaS automated solutions to a variety of industries.

We are looking for applicants who are ambitious, eager to learn, and ready to work immediately. The ideal candidate is looking to build a career in Sales and grow with our organization long-term. We will provide training, but you must have the ambition to succeed and an energetic, bubbly personality.

 

Requirements.

  • Minimum age of 18
  • Professional level of English and full working rights (no student visas/part-time applicants)
  • Competency with basic Microsoft Office products
  • Good presentation and phone manner
  • Minimum VCE level completion
  • Ability to work well both autonomously and in a team

Senior PHP Developer (Laravel)

Salary $120k – 140k + super
Flexible work environment: Melbourne CBD office / hybrid / remote.

Global Data is expanding its development team and is looking for a mid to senior PHP Laravel developer with proven commercial experience in product delivery.

Tech stack in use: PHP, Laravel, Livewire, Tailwind, MySQL, Forge, Envoyer, AWS.
 
The Role:
  • Responsible for developing and maintaining multiple internal and customer facing products and APIs
  • Work closely with business stakeholders to develop new features and systems
  • Contribute to core product architecture and engineering decisions
  • Contribute to continuing improvement in development standards and practices
  • Take on a key role in a growing development team
Requirements:
  • Expert level knowledge of PHP and Laravel
  • Strong understanding of AWS environments including EC2, RDS, SQS, S3, etc
  • Strong understanding of SQL (AWS RDS Aurora)
  • Front end development experience (JavaScript, Tailwind, Livewire)
  • Experience in working with CI/CD tools
  • Proven history working on customer facing Laravel applications
  • Understanding of best practices in secure development and design principles
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
  • Ability to work on back-end engineering as well as front end UI/UX requirements
  • Ability to switch between feature development and BAU
  • Ability to work autonomously when required

Administration and Accounts Assistant

Job Description:
Global Data, Australia's leading provider of marketing and data insights in the B2C and B2B sectors, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Administration and Accounts assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with MYOB and Microsoft Office, as well as excellent customer service skills.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide support to the CFO with accounts and bookkeeping
  • Enter data for accounts payable and receivable
  • Perform bank reconciliations and follow up on outstanding invoices       
  • Assist with sending subscription agreements and maintaining company databases (MYOB, Hubspot)        
  • Perform general administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications:
  • Essential: Experience with MYOB
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Outlook and Excel        
  • Strong customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively over the phone        
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently        
  • Advantageous: some experience with Hubspot CRM
